Welcome to my blog! I'm Inka, a fourth-year textile and fashion student at the Salpaus Further Education. This blog mainly focuses on documenting my studies along with other socials. 

I'm passionate about all aspects of garment creation - from design and creative problem-solving to sewing and pattern making. My studies have given me hands-on experience in client works within the framework of Junior Achievement (JA) Finland (NYT- yrittäjyys), international exchange programs, participation in various projects,  as well as competing both nationally (Taitaja) and internationally (EuroSkills 2025).

I have entered this field because I've been enthusiastic and interested in it since I was little. My goal is to graduate as a custom seamstress, combining technical skill with creative design and to continue learning and growing in the field. In the future, I want to be involved in making the industry more environmentally friendly and promoting body positivity and diversity in it. I'm eager to connect with professionals, explore new opportunities and share my journey as I develop into a skilled, versatile practitioner.
